Apple Product Launch

I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance…

-Steve Jobs

You might think with how easily we come to love new Apple products that they couldn’t have possibly created anything that wasn’t a total hit in the past. Well, #funfact, on this day in history, Apple introduced the Apple III (seen below) to the world which ended up being their biggest failure. Read exactly why here.

Thanks to Steve Jobs and his pure perseverance, we can marvel at the incredible capabilities and gadgets showcased at their most recent Apple product launch. I figured what better way to honor Steve’s perseverance than to share with you some of the latest and greatest from the recent launch. You’ll likely start seeing these cool systems and gadgets very soon as they’re beginning to ship out this month!

Before I go on, can we just stop and take a second to let this one sink in a bit? *Spoiler Alert* The pic on the right is one of the cool, new shiny products.

Isn’t it crazy that Apple has come from

this…                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        …to this?

Okay, here we go.

24-inch iMac

Colors

Green, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple, Blue, and Silver.

It wouldn’t be in true Apple fashion to leave you hanging with a boring old white charger to go with your new colorful iMac. That’s why they made a matching magnetic power connector to go with it. And of course, you also get a matching Magic Keyboard. The newer version of the keyboard even has touch ID!

Size

11.5mm thin

24 inch screen

What’s inside?

— M1 Chip- The first system on a chip in a Mac. You get everything, the processor, graphics, memory, and more onto a single chip. See how far we’ve come since the Apple III? Or Apple I for that matter?! Look that one up… yikes.

— 24‑inch 4.5K Retina display

— P3 wide color gamut

— 500 nits of brightness

— Anti‑reflective coating

— True Tone technology

— 1080p FaceTime HD camera.

— The studio-quality three-mic array

…and more

It’s so amazing to me how quickly technology evolves and how lucky we are to experience all of it right at our fingertips!

iPad Pro

Colors

Space Gray and Silver

Size

11 inch or 12.9 inch

What’s inside?

— M1 chip- Yes, the same chip as the new iMac that holds all the goods.

— 8‑core CPU helps to bump up the performance to 50 percent faster

— 8‑core GPU provides up to 40 percent faster graphics performance

— 1000 nits of full‑screen brightness and 1600 nits of peak brightness

— P3 wide color, True Tone, and ProMotion

— 5G capabilities

— Wi‑Fi 6 aka the fastest wifi available

— Ultra Wide camera with a 12MP sensor and a 122‑degree field of view, making it perfect for FaceTime and the new Center Stage feature

…and more

I thought the coolest thing about all of these new features is the Center Stage feature. It basically acts as a cameraman for you. It actively centers you in the frame of the video as it follows your movements and it zooms in and out as needed when others join or leave your video. Pretty nifty to say the least.

AirTag

Okay. At least some of us, at one point or another, have thought about some variation of this next neat, little gadget. Leave it to Apple to make our dreams a reality; never lose your keys again.

How it works

Connect one of these little guys to your keys, purse, umbrella, backpack, you name it. These handy little helpers send out a Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the Find My network. These devices then send the location of the AirTag to iCloud — then you can go to the Find My app and see it on a map.

Privacy

It’s comforting to know the whole process of using AirTags is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. Only you can see where your AirTag is. Your location and history are never stored on the AirTag itself, so you can rest assured knowing you’re safe and sound with the coolest gadget around. That brings me to the next feature- unwanted tracking.

Unwanted Tracking- Unintentional or Intentional

Even more comforting, AirTag is designed to prevent unwanted tracking. If someone else’s AirTag finds its way into your stuff, your iPhone will notice it’s traveling with you and will send you an alert. Genius! If you go along not noticing the notification on your phone, eventually, the AirTag will start playing a sound to let you know it’s there. Ahh, big sigh of relief.

It Takes Pure Perseverance

Honestly, who can argue that these gadgets and features from the most recent Apple product launch aren’t the coolest and most well-thought out creations? Apple is killing the game and keeping us on our toes now more than ever. With that pure perseverance Steve Jobs talked about, seeing the major comeback after an early defeat is more motivating than just about anything. Now, go pick up that project you’ve been putting off, forget any sense of defeat, rebuild, and press on!

All the best!
